Data Annotation Intern – Fresher

About the Role

Nabham Tech is looking for a Data Annotation Intern to support the development of AI and computer vision models for sports video analytics. The candidate will work with images and videos to create accurate training datasets for player detection, pose estimation, shuttle tracking, court detection and other computer vision applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate images and video frames for AI model training
• Create and correct bounding boxes, keypoints, skeletons, lines and object labels
• Annotate players, shuttlecock, court points and other required objects
• Work with annotation tools such as CVAT
• Review AI-generated annotations and manually correct errors
• Maintain consistent annotation quality across datasets
• Follow annotation guidelines and class definitions
• Perform quality checks on completed annotations
• Organize image, video and annotation datasets
• Coordinate with the Computer Vision team for dataset corrections and improvements

Required Skills

• Good computer proficiency and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately on repetitive tasks
• Basic understanding of images and videos
• Good observation and visual interpretation skills
• Ability to understand and follow annotation guidelines
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CVAT, Label Studio, Roboflow or similar annotation tools
• Basic understanding of AI, computer vision, object detection or pose estimation
• Familiarity with bounding boxes, keypoints and segmentation
• Basic knowledge of Python will be an advantage
• Interest in badminton, sports analytics or computer vision

Qualification

Any graduate who has completed their degree is eligible to apply. Candidates from an Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, AI/Data Science or related technical background will be preferred, but this is not mandatory. Freshers with strong attention to detail, good computer skills and an interest in AI/computer vision are encouraged to apply.

Full-Time Opportunity

The internship may be converted into a full-time position based on performance, annotation quality and company requirements.
